Vape Juice Flavour Profiles
Thanks to brands such as Big Bold, Doozy Vape Co., and others, vape shops such as Legion of Vapers offer hundreds of flavours to choose from. These options can be classed in different flavour profiles, including traditional tobacco and menthol flavours, as well as delicious desserts, candies, fruit, and beverages. Whether you prefer the fresh boldness of tropical fruit, the nostalgic taste of your favourite childhood candies, or the cool, sweet creaminess of strawberry milk, you’ll have no trouble finding something to treat your taste buds.
E-Liquid VG/PG Ratios
There’s more to choosing e-liquid at Legion of Vapers than flavour. It’s also important to consider VG/PG ratios. VG is vegetable glycerine, which is responsible for cloud production, while PG is propylene glycol, which carries the flavour.
If you want less vapour, more flavour, and a throat hit similar to smoking a traditional cigarette, choose good quality vape juice with a VG/PG ratio of around 50/50 for use in a standard kit with a coil resistance of at least 1 ohm. If you want big, billowing clouds and a gentler throat hit, choose e-liquid with a 70/30 VG/PG ratio for use in a more powerful kit with a coil resistance of less than 1 ohm.
Nicotine Strengths
Nicotine for the premium e-liquids offered by Legion of Vapers comes in two different forms. Freebase nicotine has a harsh throat hit, especially when vape juice has a freebase nicotine strength higher than 6mg. Nic salts are designed to deliver a much smoother, gentler throat hit and a faster nicotine hit.
If you’re switching from smoking cigarettes to vaping, you can enhance the experience by choosing the right nicotine strength for your needs. If you’re a social smoker who smokes once or twice a week, consider a low nicotine option such as 3mg, but if you’re a light smoker who has fewer than 10 cigarettes a day, start with a 5mg nic salt or 6mg freebase option.
If you smoke 20 cigarettes a day, start with 10mg nic salts or 12mg freebase e-liquid, but if you’re a heavy smoker who smokes more than a pack a day, you may prefer to start with 20mg nic salts or 18mg freebase vape juice.
